Manage Alert Recipient (Telegram)

Prerequisites

Antares Insight Hub has an Alert Recipient feature that serves to send alert notifications if there are parameters that exceed the threshold value that has been configured on the registered device that you are using. Notifications will be sent via the Telegram application. If you have not configured the threshold you can follow these steps:

Steps to Activate Telegram Alert Recipient

1. Open Manage Alert Recipient Menu

On the left navigation bar, open the Settings menu then, click ‘Alert Recipients’

2. Add contact

On the Notification page, click ‘Add Contact’ on the top right.

3. Fill the Add Notification Contact Form

After you click the ‘Add Contact’ button, a form will appear that you need to fill in. Enter the Notification Name and Contact Name that you will use for Alert Recipient in Telegram.

After entering the Notification Name and Contact Name, click ‘Save’

4. See and Copy Subscription URL

Next, click "Subscription URL"

The display will change to the following image. Then, click ‘Copy Link’

5. Access Subscription URL in Telegram

Open a new tab and paste the URL that you copied earlier.

You will see a display as in the following image. Make sure you have logged in to your Telegram Web application. Then, click ‘Open in Web’

You will be redirected to Antares Virtual Assistance's Telegram bot account

After opening the Telegram app, you will be in a chat room with Antares Virtual Assistance. Then, click ‘Start’

After clicking ‘Start’, you will get an automated message as in the image below

6. Enabling Alert Recipients in Antares Insight

Please return to the Alert Recipients page in the Antares Insight Hub. Then click ‘Start’

If you have successfully subscribed, the display on the Alert Recipients page will be as shown below
